Educational Resources

There is a myriad of information out there on the internet.  On this page, we'll try to suggest sites that provide information related to the gastrointestinal tract and liver.  Additionally, we'll reference sites that deal with specific disorders of interest to our patients.  Keep in mind that Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc, does not have control of content at these sites.  Please feel free to suggest other sites that we might include in the future!

 

General Sites

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America has served colitis patients for years.  Patients with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease would benefit most from their site.

The National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases is a part of the National Institute of Health.  Excellent information can be discovered here, including an A to Z List of Topics related to gastrointestinal problems.

 

New to the web, UpToDate has added an exceptional resource for patients.  UpToDate has been a leading resource for physicians, and is frequently referenced by health care providers with a subscription.
