Infusions
Infusion is the administration of medication via intravenous (IV) route. After placement of an IV, a special pump can be used for this purpose. We provide infusion services for Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, and other diagnoses. Some medications include but are not limited to:
- Stelara
- Remicade
- Entyvio
- B12
Ohio Gastro Infusion
We offer in house infusion services at our Olentangy location with our own professional, knowledgeable, and caring Ohio Gastro infusion staff. Our providers have oversight to our infusion services and onsite during infusion operating hours. Each of our private infusion suites offer free wi-fi and refreshments for all patients and visitors. Coming soon, each suite will have their own TV.
How do I get Scheduled?
After an order is placed by your physician and necessary labs are resulted, our Ohio Gastro billing department will begin the prior authorization process with your insurance. After a prior authorization is obtained, a staff member from our infusion team will reach out to you to schedule.
