Pay for Care with CareCredit

Healthcare costs are not always expected and may be difficult to pay all at once. Our goal is to help patients access the care they need, so we offer flexible payment options, including CareCredit.

What is CareCredit?

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card. It is a financing option that allows you to pay for eligible medical expenses over time.

You can use CareCredit for out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and self-pay balances.

CareCredit is not insurance. It is a way to manage how you pay for care.

When CareCredit may help

CareCredit may help if you need more time to pay your balance.

It may be useful if you:

  • Have a high-deductible health plan
  • Receive an unexpected bill
  • Do not have insurance
  • Need a payment method other than cash, check, or a standard credit card

Your payment options

We offer more than one way to pay.
  • Interest-free payment plans (if eligible) are offered through our practice
  • CareCredit financing is offered through a third-party lender
You can choose the option that works best for you. Our billing team can explain how these options differ.

Applying for CareCredit

You can apply online at carecredit.com/go/544SJM/ or by phone. Approval decisions are typically provided quickly. You must be 21 years or older to apply.

Because CareCredit is a credit product, applying may:

  • Involve a credit check
  • Impact your credit score, depending on the lender’s policies

The amount you can finance depends on your approved credit limit.

If you are not approved for CareCredit, you may still qualify for an interest-free payment plan or other arrangements. Contact our billing department to review your options.

Making payments

If you use CareCredit, you will make payments directly to CareCredit. Payments are not made to our office.

Some CareCredit plans allow early payoff. Review your CareCredit terms for details about your plan.
