Preparing for Your Test
- Plan to be at the facility for about 1 hour.
- Family members or guests cannot be in the room with you during this appointment. They may wait in the waiting area.
Day Before Your Test
- 11:59 pm – STOP having anything by mouth. DO NOT eat, drink, chew gum, suck on hard candy, or use lozenges. If you do, your procedure will be delayed or cancelled.
Day of Your Test
- A few minutes before your test time – Arrive at the front desk on the 2nd floor. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.
After Your Test
- Your doctor will give you your test results within 14 days. Your bill will show the day you had your appointment, not the day your doctor reads the results.
